Recently I was put on to watching Dexter: a serial killer working as a blood-spatter analyst at Miami Metro.
Through 96 episodes we join our loveable psychopath in the trials and tribulations brought about by virtue of him being a cold-hearted killer.
I particularly liked this as a premise simply because, like many growing up with the X-Files during my formative years, I had a fascination with such killers. I even wrote to the FBI’s Behavioural Science Unit as a 14 year old asking what subjects would stand me in good stead to work for them.
And yes, I did actually receive back a kindly letter and some career leaflets!
